Safety instructions
Important information when using NAPPY by LIINI® to protect your children
- The travel crib may only be used under the supervision of an adult. Never put the baby to sleep unattended!
- Under no circumstances should the baby crib be set up on elevations or unsafe surfaces!
- Never place the baby crib near a fire (e.g. when barbecuing outdoors). The baby’s crib could catch fire from the embers blowing around.
- Set up the baby crib exclusively with sufficient distance to water bodies!
- If the changing backpack is attached to the stroller, ensure that the stroller is balanced at all times. Therefore, the stroller must never be left unattended on slopes. Your baby’s movements can cause the stroller to tip over!
- The baby crib has a sun canopy and insect screen. Nevertheless, the baby crib should not be set up in the blazing sun. There is a danger of overheating!

Assemble baby crib: Step by step
With the practical baby crib you can put your baby to sleep anywhere – perfect for on the go.
1. Open zipper
Position the entire backpack on a flat surface (e.g. lawn) and open the zipper completely .
So that you can spread out the crib, the zipper must no longer be threaded.
Please follow the safety instructions for assembling the crib.
2. Spread baby crib
After you open the zipper completely, you can spread the baby crib to the entire lying surface.
3. Put plastic rods together
To reinforce the baby crib, appropriate plastic rods are inserted into the side walls on both sides.
To do this, you first need to simply pin the plastic rods together in the middle.
4. Insert plastic rods
The assembled plastic rods (2 pieces in total) now only need to be inserted into the guides provided in the side walls of the crib (see picture).
5. Prepare sleeping area for baby
Of course, the baby crib has an integrated sunshade and insect screen – very convenient in the summer and to protect against mosquito bites . The sun canopy can be easily rolled out and fastened on the opposite side with the Velcro.
Don’t forget to unroll the included baby mattress.
The bed is now fully assembled and you can put your baby to sleep.
Stow baby crib: Step by step
Your baby was resting? Then now it’s time to put the baby crib away again.
1. Roll up sun canopy & insect screen
It’s best to start by stowing the sunscreen and insect repellent. You can roll up the sun and insect protection and fasten it again with the Velcro.
You can also roll up the baby mattress again and knot it with the sewn strings.
2. Pull out plastic rods
Now you have to pull the inserted plastic rods out of the baby crib again. To do this, you can grab the plastic rod with one hand on the side with the opening (right hand in the picture) and carefully pull it out.
To make the extraction as easy as possible, push the rod with the other hand to support it (left hand in the picture).
3. Fold baby crib
So that you can close the changing backpack again, you must now fold up the baby bed and close the zipper.
The zipper must be threaded cleanly and completely at the beginning.
During closing, take good care not to trap any fabrics.
4. Stow bars
Once both bars are completely removed from the crib, you can pull the bars apart in the middle and fold them together.
Then stow the rods in the crib compartment and close the zipper completely.
5. Until the next trip 🙂
Once both bars are completely removed from the crib, you can pull the bars apart in the middle and fold them together.
Then stow the rods in the crib compartment and close the zipper completely.
Stow baby crib - option 2: Step-by-step
For folding the crib, it is not mandatory to remove the plastic rods from the crib.
1. Roll up sun canopy & insect screen
It’s best to start by stowing the sunscreen and insect repellent. You can roll up the sun and insect protection and fasten it again with the Velcro.
You can also roll up the baby mattress again and knot it with the sewn strings.
2. Pull apart plastic rods
Compared to option 1 (see above), you can also leave the plastic rods in the side walls of the crib.
To do this, hold the plastic rod in the middle with one hand – with your free hand, pull out the plastic rod on the side of the opening for about 5 cm, so that the rods are no longer connected.
3. Put plastic rods across in x-shape
After you have separated the plastic rods from each other on both sides, you can fold them “X”-shaped – crosswise – and store them inside the area of the crib.
The cross-shaped folding takes some practice. But after just a few tries, you’ll get the hang of it.
If this variant is too complicated for you, we recommend you to remove the rods completely from the baby crib each time (see above).
3. Close zipper
When the bars are crossed, you can fold the crib and close the zipper.
Please take good care not to pinch any fabric parts of the backpack during closing.
Important: The zipper must be completely threaded before closing (see picture).
