Check the scope of delivery

Congratulations on your purchase of your baby food warmer. All products come in sealed packaging because they are a hygiene product. We attach great importance to hygiene standards, so please check immediately after receiving your parcel that the packaging seals have not been broken. The scope of delivery includes:

• LIINI® baby food warmer
• USB-C cable (without adapter)
• Seal for the lid (already inserted)

Fully charge the baby food warmer

Before first use, the baby food warmer should be fully charged using the USB cable supplied. A full charge takes about 2–3 hours, depending on the charging adapter used. We recommend a quick-charge adapter for charging. You can use the adapter of your smartphone for this. Always make sure you use only suitable adapters that carry a CE marking.

While charging, 3 animated charging bars light up. If they do not light up after plugging in, check the power connection and, if necessary, try a different charging cable.

Cleaning before first use

Before first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the heating area. To do this, you can remove the sealing ring inserted in the lid with your fingers.

In the next step, you can clean the baby food warmer with universal disinfecting wipes – this removes 99 % of all viruses and bacteria.

Fitting the lid correctly

The lid can be closed leak-proof in the correct position by turning it in one direction.

Please pay attention to the icons on the back of the baby food warmer. The lid can only be closed properly in the correct position.

Warming performance at a low battery level

The heating output of the device is directly linked to the capacity of the battery – that means:

The device distributes the remaining battery capacity intelligently to ensure that the baby food is always fully warmed on the go – even when the battery level is low. This guarantees at all times that your baby can be given a complete meal without the device switching off in the middle of the warming process because of insufficient battery capacity.

We recommend always charging the baby food warmer fully before outings. If necessary, please always carry a power bank as well.

The food should be warmer!

Of course, some babies prefer their food a little warmer. In that case, you can leave the baby food in the warmer a little longer before switching it off. This raises the temperature of the food, so you can adjust it to your baby’s needs.

The desired eating temperature of the baby food therefore ultimately depends on how long it is warmed in the baby food warmer. Although the baby food warmer signals with a beep that the recommended temperature for babies has been reached, you can control the desired final temperature yourself through the warming time.

   Step 1: Remove the lid

   Before use, remove the leak-proof lid. When opening it, pay attention to the correct direction of rotation:

   • Open the lid: turn anticlockwise
   • Close the lid: turn clockwise

   The direction of rotation always refers to the rear view of the product (icons visible).

   Step 2: Clean the heating area

   Before every use of the baby food warmer, the stainless-steel heating plate should be cleaned with a disinfecting wipe. Use suitable products without alcohol and without fragrances (e.g. available from DM).

   After cleaning, you can leave the active ingredients to work for one minute and remove any residue with a dry cloth.

   Step 3: Put the baby food in the warmer

   After cleaning, you can prepare the desired amount of baby food and fill the baby food warmer.

   When filling, use a plastic spoon if possible to protect the heating plate from unwanted scratches and signs of wear.

   Finally, spread the food or baby food evenly across the heating area of the baby food warmer.

   For on the go, we recommend storing and transporting the baby food cold in the baby food warmer.

   Step 4: Close the lid

   For warming the baby food, we recommend always closing the lid. On the one hand, warming is much faster, and on the other hand you protect the food from insects when outdoors.

   Here, too, make sure to fit the lid correctly (turn it clockwise).

   The baby food warmer should stand on a level surface (e.g. a table) throughout the entire warming process.

   Step 5: Start warming

   Now start the device by holding down the power button for 3 seconds.

   Once the baby food warmer has been unlocked (child lock), the battery level is displayed. With a single, simple touch of the touch button while the battery level is displayed, you confirm the start of the warming process.

   You do not need to set a temperature – the baby food warmer now warms automatically to the perfect eating temperature for babies and toddlers.

   Step 6: Stir the baby food after 2 minutes

   For even warming of the baby food, we recommend stirring the contents thoroughly once after about 2 minutes.

   You can open the lid without any problem while the food is warming. This does not stop the warming process.

   Close the lid again after stirring.

   Step 7: Recommended eating temperature reached

   Within a few minutes (depending on the amount and consistency of the baby food), the baby food has reached the recommended eating temperature for babies. If the baby food is still a little too hot, you can simply leave it to cool for 1–2 minutes with the device switched off.

   As soon as the food is ready, a beep sounds and the three warming bars remain unchanged at 3 bars.

   Of course, you can feed your baby directly from the baby food warmer.

   Step 8: Optional: raise the temperature of the baby food

   Does your baby prefer their food a little warmer?

   In that case, you can simply leave the baby food in the warmer a little longer before switching it off. This raises the temperature of the food, so you can adjust it to your baby’s needs.

   The desired eating temperature of the baby food therefore ultimately depends on how long it is warmed in the baby food warmer. Although the baby food warmer signals with a beep that the recommended temperature for babies has been reached, you can control the desired final temperature yourself through the warming time.

   The temperature must in every case always be checked with a wrist check before eating.

   Step 9: Switch off the device

   After feeding, you can switch off the baby food warmer by touching the touch area for 3 seconds.

   Note

   Switches off after 3 seconds

   The device only switches off after the touch area has been held for 3 seconds. This ensures that the warming process is not switched off by an unintentional, brief touch of the touch area.

   If your baby has not eaten everything, you can keep the remaining food in the switched-off device and warm it up again if needed.

    Step 10: Clean the device

    After the meal, you can clean the device on the go with a baby cleaning wipe without alcohol and fragrances.

    For a thorough clean, you can occasionally leave a vinegar/water mixture in the baby food warmer overnight to remove any stubborn dirt.

How to clean the device properly

Improper handling can pose serious risks. Please therefore follow the instructions below carefully to avoid hazards:

• Cleaning the heating area: Use only special cleaning wipes for baby products (available from specialist retailers) to clean the heating area.
• Cleaning the housing: Wiping the housing of the baby food warmer with a slightly damp cloth is entirely sufficient. For stubborn dirt, you may also use a little washing-up liquid. Make sure that no water can get inside the device. The electrical components and the battery are particularly sensitive to moisture.
• Regular checks: Check your device regularly for signs of damage or corrosion. If you notice anything unusual, or if water has accidentally got into the device, stop using it and contact our customer service immediately.

Stubborn dirt

For stubborn dirt, we recommend leaving a mixture of 50 % water and 50 % vinegar in the baby food warmer overnight. This loosens even stubborn baby food residues effortlessly.

The nutrition trend BLW (baby-led weaning) is gradually spreading from the United States to Europe.

Seal for the lid

So that your baby’s food can be transported leak-proof in the baby food warmer, a seal is fitted inside the lid.

The seal can easily be removed for cleaning. Make sure you use no sharp objects to remove it.

To protect your children and prevent the device from starting unintentionally.

Hold the touch area for 3 seconds

The baby food warmer has a button lock to prevent it from being switched on unintentionally by children or in the changing bag.

The device can be unlocked very easily by touching the touch area for 3 seconds.

Once the device has been unlocked, the battery level is displayed. By touching the touch area once more, you confirm the start of the warming process. You do not need to set a temperature.

Reference values for preparing baby food.

Jar of baby food with 190 g content

For our tests, we used a jar of baby food with a total of 190 g. The baby food was stored at room temperature (approx. 20 °C).

Warming the 190 g takes about 5 to 8 minutes.

Please note that various factors such as outside temperature, temperature of the baby food or battery level can lengthen or shorten the warming time.

Trust is good – checking is better.

Tolerances in warming temperatures

When preparing baby food in our baby food warmer, it is important that the contents are stirred thoroughly once after about 2 minutes.

Only then can it be ensured that the baby food is warmed evenly.

Isn’t the baby food too cold?

The perfect eating temperature for babies and toddlers is approx. 37 °C – 45 °C (it varies from baby to baby). You can do a wrist test for this: if you feel neither warmth nor cold compared with your own body temperature, the food is at exactly the right temperature for your child.

LIINI® stands for quality.

The products carry a warranty of 24 months in total from receipt of the order. Wearing parts are completely excluded from the warranty.

Wearing parts are:

• Battery (the battery of the device has a service life of approx. 500 full charge cycles. After that, the battery still delivers approx. 80 % of its original performance).
• Seal in the lid

The warranty is also excluded:

• If the defect is due to improper handling or use of the product that does not correspond to normal use.
• If the defect is due to a malfunction caused by incorrect operation that does not correspond to the instructions described in the relevant user manual.
• If the defect is due to external interference (“third-party intervention”), in particular repairs and interventions by persons who have not been authorised to do so by LIINI AG.
• If the product has been damaged by contact with water / water damage.
• Normal signs of wear and tear do not give rise to a warranty claim.

LIINI AG may fulfil the warranty either by partial replacement (e.g. spare parts such as seals) or by complete replacement with an equivalent product.

To check a warranty claim, the customer must open a ticket in the “Problem with device / defect” category of the ticket system at www.LIINI.ch/support and provide the following evidence:

• Video showing the problem
• Picture 1: front of the device
• Picture 2: back of the device
• Picture 3: underside of the device
• Picture 4: heating area of the device

If LIINI AG finds corresponding damage to the device (e.g. a misshapen heating area, atypical scratches or dents, etc.), any warranty is excluded.

By submitting the ticket, the customer confirms that all information is truthful. Should it emerge during the processing of the warranty case that warranty fraud has taken place, LIINI AG reserves the right to take appropriate legal action.
