How to make the porridge
Start by carefully washing 50 grams of strawberries, removing the stems and cutting the strawberries into pieces. Strawberries are not only delicious, but also rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.
Next, cook the millet in water according to the instructions on the packet. Millet is a gluten-free grain and an excellent source of fiber and minerals.
Once the millet is cooked, mix the sliced strawberries into the cooked millet. Allow the mixture to simmer briefly to heat the strawberries slightly and release their flavor.
Now it’s time to puree the mixture into a mash. You can use a hand blender or a mixer to ensure that the porridge has the desired consistency.
Leave the strawberry and millet porridge to cool before serving or storing. The natural sweetness of the strawberries gives this porridge a delicious taste that is popular with babies and toddlers.
If you want to warm up the porridge later, you can do this conveniently in the LIINI porridge warmer. This warmer ensures that the porridge is at the ideal temperature for your baby without you having to use the microwave.
Enjoy this fresh and seasonal strawberry and millet porridge in summer, when strawberries are available in abundance. Bon appétit!
