Check scope of delivery

Congratulations on the purchase of your porridge warmer. All products have sealed packaging, as it is a hygienic product. We attach great importance to appropriate hygiene standards – so please check that the packaging seals have not been broken immediately after receiving the parcel. The scope of delivery includes:

Fully load porridge warmer

Before first use, the porridge warmer should be fully charged with the supplied USB cable. Full charging takes approximately 2-3 hours and depends on the charging adapter used. We recommend using a quick-charging adapter for the charging process . You can use your smartphone’s adapter for this. Always ensure that you only use suitable adapters that have a CE marking .

During charging, 3 animated charging bars light up. If these do not light up after plugging in, check the power connection and try a different charging cable if necessary.

Cleaning before first use

We recommend thorough cleaning of the heating area before first use.

To do this, you can remove the inserted sealing ring in the lid with your fingers. Please refrain from using sharp objects – this may cause damage and corresponding leakage during transportation. In a next step, you can now clean the porridge warmer with universal disinfecting wipes – thus eliminating 99% of all viruses and bacteria. We do not recommend sterilizing the seal in a boiling water bath, as wear is higher and deformation may occur.

Attach the sealing cap correctly

The sealing cap can be closed with a twist in the correct position to prevent leakage.

Please note the icons on the back of the porridge warmer for this. The lid can only be closed properly in the correct position.

Warm-up power at low battery level

The heat output of the device is directly related to the capacity of the battery – that is:

At 40% battery level, the heating power is reduced by 50% and it takes longer to heat up the porridge.

The device intelligently distributes the remaining battery capacity to ensure complete heating of the baby’s porridge in any case on the go – even when the battery level is low. This ensures that a complete meal can be fed to the baby at any time without the appliance switching off in the middle of the warming process due to a lack of battery capacity.

We therefore recommend that you always fully charge the porridge warmer before outings. In case of need, please always have a power bank with you.

The food should be warmer!

Of course, there are babies who prefer their food a little warmer. In this case, you can leave the porridge in the porridge warmer a little longer before turning it off. This will increase the temperature of the food and you can adjust it to your baby’s needs.

Thus, the desired eating temperature of the porridge ultimately depends on the duration of heating in the porridge warmer. Although the porridge warmer beeps to signal that the recommended temperature for babies has been reached, you can control the desired final temperature yourself by the heating time.

In any case, always check the temperature via wrist check.

Step-by-step instructions

The baby porridge preparation on the go with pictures explained step by step

1. Remove cover

Remove the leak-proof lid before use. When opening, make sure that the direction of rotation is correct:

Open the lid: Counterclockwise rotation
Close the lid: Clockwise rotation

The direction of rotation always starts from the rear view of the product (icons visible).

2. Clean the warm-up area

Before each use of the porridge warmer, the stainless steel heating plate should be cleaned with a disinfectant wipe. Use appropriate products without alcohol and without fragrances (eg. B. available at DM).

After cleaning, you can leave the active ingredients on for a minute and remove any residue with a dry cloth.

3. Put baby porridge in the porridge warmer

After cleaning, you can prepare the baby porridge in the desired amount and fill the baby porridge warmer.

If possible, use a plastic spoon for filling to protect the heating plate from unwanted scratches and signs of use.

Finally, distribute the food or baby food evenly in the heating area of the baby food warmer.

When traveling, we recommend storing and transporting the porridge in the porridge warmer in a cold state.

4. Close lid

For heating the baby porridge, we recommend that you always close the lid for this purpose. On the one hand, the heating is much faster and on the other hand, you protect the food outside from insects.

Again, make sure that the lid is correctly attached (clockwise rotation).

The porridge warmer should be placed on a level surface (e.g. table) during the entire warming-up process.

5. Start warm up

Now start the device by pressing the power button for 3 seconds.

After successful unlocking (child protection) of the porridge warmer, the battery status is displayed. With a simple, single touch of the touch button during the battery level display, you confirm the start of the warm-up process.

You don’t have to set a temperature – the porridge warmer now automatically warms to the perfect eating temperature for babies & toddlers.

6. Stir porridge after 2 minutes

For even heating of the baby porridge, we recommend that you stir the contents once completely after about 2 minutes.

You can easily open the lid during heating. This does not stop the warm-up.

Close the lid again after stirring.

7. Recommended eating temperature reached

Within a few minutes (depending on the porridge quantity & consistency) the baby porridge has reached the recommended eating temperature for babies. If the porridge is still a bit too warm, you can simply leave it for 1-2 minutes with the machine turned off and let it cool.

As soon as the food is ready, a beep sounds and the three reheating bars remain unchanged at 3 dashes.

Of course, you can feed your baby directly from the porridge warmer.

8. Optional: Increase food temperature

Your baby prefers food a little warmer?

In this case, you can just leave the porridge in the porridge warmer a little longer before turning it off. This will increase the temperature of the food and you can adjust it to your baby’s needs.

In any case, always check the temperature with a wrist check before eating.

8. Switch off device

After feeding, you can turn off the porridge warmer by touching the touch area for 3 seconds.

Important: The device only switches off after 3 seconds of being held down to ensure that the warm-up process does not switch off due to an unintentional, brief touch of the touch area.

If your baby hasn’t eaten all of it, you can store the remaining amount in the off state and reheat as needed.

9. Clean device

After eating, you can clean the device on the go with a cleaning cloth for babies without alcohol and fragrances.

For a thorough clean, you can leave a vinegar/water mixture in the porridge warmer overnight in between to remove any stubborn stains.

How to clean the appliance properly

Improper handling can result in serious risks.

Therefore, please observe the following instructions to avoid danger:

No exposure to water: Immersing your Spreheater in water or cleaning it under running water can lead to water damage. The product must also never be sterilized in a sterilizer! This poses serious risks such as short circuits and can irreparably damage the battery/rechargeable battery. Such damage is not only a risk for the appliance, but can also lead to fires, electric shocks or other accidents. If water enters the product, it must not be used under any circumstances!
Cleaning the reheating area: Only use special cleaning cloths for baby products (available from specialist retailers) to clean the reheating area.
Cleaning the housing: It is sufficient to clean the housing of the porridge warmer with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn stains, you can also use a little washing-up liquid. Make sure that no water can penetrate the inside of the appliance. The electrical components and the battery are particularly sensitive to moisture.
Regular checks: Check your device regularly for signs of damage or corrosion. If you notice any abnormalities or if water has accidentally entered the device, stop using it and contact our customer service team immediately.

Stubborn soiling

For stubborn stains, we recommend leaving a 50% water / 50% vinegar mixture in the slurry warmer overnight. Even stubborn porridge residues are easily removed.

Suitable for all baby porridge products

The LIINI® porridge warmer is suitable for all baby porridge products from the supermarket:

Of course, you can also warm up your homemade baby porridge with the porridge warmer at any time.

The BLW (Baby-led Weaning) nutrition trend is gradually spilling over from the United States to Europe.

The porridge warmer is only conditionally suitable for raw food and food in whole pieces. For this reason, we do not make an official recommendation for this.

To ensure that the food for your baby can be transported in the porridge warmer without leaking, a seal is inserted inside the lid.

The seal can be easily removed for cleaning. Be careful here not to use sharp objects for removal.

When inserting the gasket, make sure that the direction of installation is correct. When installed, the sealing lips must be visible.

Key lock / Unlock device

To protect your children and prevent unintentional starting of the device

Press and hold touch for 3 seconds

The porridge warmer is equipped with a key lock against unintentional switching on by children or in the diaper bag.

The device can be easily unlocked by touching the touch area for 3 seconds.

After successful unlocking, the battery status is displayed. You confirm the start of the heating process by touching the touch area once again. You do not have to set a temperature.

How long does the warm-up take?

Reference values for the preparation of porridge

Pap jars with 190 g content

For our tests, we used a porridge jar with a total of 190 g. The baby food was kept at room temperature (approx. 20°C).

Warm up the 190 g take about 5 to 8 minutes.

Please note that various factors such as outside temperature, width temperature or battery status can extend or shorten the warm-up time.

Tolerances for heating temperatures

When preparing baby porridge in our baby porridge warmer, it is important to stir the contents once completely after about 2 minutes.

This is the only way to ensure that the baby food is heated evenly.

Isn't the porridge too cold?

The eating temperature we adults are used to is too high for babies and toddlers. There is a risk that the babies will receive appropriate burns.

The perfect eating temperature for babies and toddlers is about 37°C – 45°C (varies from baby to baby). You can do a wrist test for this: if you don’t notice any heat or cold to your own body temperature, the food is just the right temperature for your child.

LIINI® stands for quality.

The products are guaranteed for a total of 24 months from receipt of the order. Wearing parts are completely excluded from the warranty.

Wear and tear parts are

Battery (The battery of the device has a service life of approx. 500 full charging cycles. After this, the battery will still provide approx. 80 % of its original power).
Seals (adapter and bottle warmer)

The warranty is also excluded:

If the defect is due to improper handling or use of the product that does not correspond to normal use.
If the defect is due to a malfunction caused by incorrect operation and is not in accordance with the instructions in the relevant user manual
described in the operating instructions.
If the defect is due to external intervention, in particular repairs and interventions by persons not authorized by LIINI GmbH
have been authorized.
If the product has been damaged due towater contact / water damage.
Normal signs of wear and tear do not invalidate the warranty.

LIINI GmbH can provide the warranty either by partial (e.g. spare parts such as seals) or complete replacement with an equivalent product.

In order to check the warranty claim, the customer must open a ticket under the corresponding category “Problem with device / defect” in the ticket system at www.LIINI.ch/support and provide the following evidence:

If LIINI GmbH discovers any damage to the appliance (e.g. misshapen heating plate, untypical scratches or dents, etc.), any warranty is excluded.

By submitting the ticket, the customer confirms that all details are true. LIINI GmbH reserves the right to take appropriate legal action should it become apparent during the processing of the warranty claim that there is evidence of warranty fraud.
