Cleaning before first use

Clean the LIINI pacifier thoroughly before using it for the first time. Disassemble the pacifier into its individual parts and boil the mouthpiece, the shield and the screw cap in plenty of water for a few minutes.

Allow all parts to cool and dry completely before reassembling the pacifier. Before each use, check that all components are correctly and securely fitted.

Step-by-step: Disassemble the pacifier into its individual parts

This is how you proceed if you want to disassemble the pacifier

1. Loosen the screw cap

Hold the pacifier firmly and turn the round screw cap on the front counterclockwise. This allows you to open the pacifier and then disassemble it into its individual parts.

2. Pull out the childproof lock

2. Pull out the childproof lock

Carefully pull the safety piece out of the mouthpiece. Then store the childproof lock in a safe place out of the reach of children.

3. Remove the mouthpiece

Gently squeeze the mouthpiece with your thumb and index finger and at the same time carefully push it out through the opening of the aluminum shield.

Step-by-step: Assembling the pacifier

This is how you proceed if you want to assemble the pacifier

1. Insert mouthpiece

Gently press the mouthpiece together with your thumb and forefinger and carefully insert it from the front of the pacifier through the opening provided in the shield.

2. Check for correct fit

2. Check for correct fit

Now check whether the mouthpiece has been inserted correctly. When correctly seated, the bridge of the mouthpiece rests fully on the aluminum shield and cannot be pulled out.

3. Attach child safety lock

3. Attach child safety lock

Carefully insert the childproof lock into the opening of the mouthpiece until it is fully inserted.

The childproof lock ensures that the mouthpiece remains securely fixed in the pacifier and cannot be pulled out.

4. Closing the pacifier

Now take the screw cap of the pacifier and turn it clockwise to tighten it. Make sure that you do not tilt the screw cap. Screw the lid tight enough so that you can loosen it again next time.

The correct pacifier size

Nice to know

Overbite child due to pacifier

Why we rely on a one-size pacifier

Many soothers are categorized according to age. However, shape, flexibility and correct use in everyday life are crucial for healthy mouth and jaw development.

Orthodontists recommend keeping the pressure on the jaw, palate and teeth as low as possible. A soft, flexible mouthpiece can adapt better to the natural movement of the mouth and reduce unnecessary pressure.

Pacifiers that are too large or too hard can encourage malocclusions such as an open bite or overbite. Equally important is the duration and intensity of use.

The LIINI pacifier was therefore deliberately developed as a high-quality one-size pacifier – with a flexible silicone mouthpiece and a shape that supports the natural position of the tongue, lips and jaw.

Tongue sensory system of the baby

Everything about the different baby bottles on the market.

The tongue is important for development

The special structure of the LIINI pacifier is based on the idea that a baby’s mouth is a highly sensitive sensory organ right from birth. The tongue in particular plays a central role – not only in sucking, but also in early childhood perception and the development of motor processes in the oral cavity.

The so-called biomimetic nipple structure of the mouthpiece is based on natural surface structures and deliberately creates different tactile stimuli on the tongue. This creates a more differentiated mouthfeel than with smooth, conventional soothers. Especially in the first few months of life, babies use their mouths to explore their environment. Various sensory stimuli support perception, coordination of tongue movement and oral sensory functions. These early experiences are also linked to later functions such as sucking, swallowing, chewing and speaking.

We are guided by nature

The textured surface of the LIINI mouthpiece was therefore developed in such a way that:

  • the natural movement of the tongue is supported
  • different sensory stimuli arise in the oral cavity
  • a more familiar and natural sucking sensation is made possible
  • oral perception can be stimulated in a playful way
  • the soother feels softer and more natural

In contrast to very hard or smooth surfaces, the soft medical silicone gently adapts to the baby’s anatomy and reduces unnecessary pressure on the gums and jaw.

It is important to note that the LIINI pacifier does not pursue a medical healing approach. Instead, it combines modern findings on sensor technology, natural suction movement and high-quality material design to create a particularly well thought-out premium product.

Regular replacement of the mouthpiece

Our recommendation

Sustainable & hygienically well thought out

With the LIINI pacifier, the mouthpiece can be easily replaced – without having to replace the entire pacifier. This is not only particularly sustainable, but also ensures maximum hygiene in everyday life.

We recommend replacing the mouthpiece at least once a month for hygienic reasons. Also check the mouthpiece regularly for signs of use, damage or material changes and replace it immediately if necessary.

How to find the perfect ring size

Do you already have another ring at home?

Yes - measure ring

If you already have a good fitting ring, you can use that to determine the size.

Step 1: Prepare material

  • An existing ring that fits well
  • A ruler or tape measure
  • A pen and a sheet of paper

Step 2: Measure the existing ring

Lay the existing ring flat on a flat surface. Make sure that it does not deform or twist. Use the ruler or tape measure to measure the inside diameter of the ring. This is the distance from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge of the ring. Note the measurement in millimeters.

Step 3: Compare with our size chart

Now compare the measurement you noted with our size scale and choose the appropriate ring size.

No - Measure finger

If you don’t have a matching ring at home, you can easily determine your size with the following procedure.

Step 1: Prepare material

  • A thin strip of paper or a piece of string
  • A pen
  • One pair of scissors
  • A ruler or tape measure

Step 2: Measure the circumference of the finger

Wrap the thin strip of paper or string around the finger you want to wear the ring on. Make sure the strip fits snugly, but not too tight or too loose. Use a pencil to mark the place where the strip or string overlaps.

Step 3: Check the size

To make sure that the determined ring size is correct, you can wrap the thin paper strip or string around your finger again and place the ring on it. Check that it fits comfortably and is not too loose or too tight. Repeat this step if necessary to find the optimal size.

Tip: If you want more accurate measurements, you can repeat the process several times and take the average of the measurements.

Step 4: Compare with our size chart

Now compare the measurement you noted with our size scale and choose the appropriate ring size.
