Check scope of delivery

Congratulations on the purchase of your bottle warmer. All bottle warmers have sealed packaging as they are a hygiene product. We attach great importance to appropriate hygiene standards – so please check that the packaging seals have not been broken immediately after receiving the parcel. The scope of delivery includes:

LIINI® Home Bottle Warmer in the color of your choice
The bottle adapters are not included and must be purchased separately

Lid with screw cap

LIINI® Home comes with a convenient plastic lid with a twist-off cap.

We recommend closing the lid when the device is not in use. This ensures that LIINI® Home remains optimally protected from dust and other contaminants.

Cleaning before first use

We recommend thorough cleaning of the heating area before first use.

To do this, you can remove the inserted sealing ring with your fingers. Please refrain from using sharp objects – this can lead to damage and corresponding leaks during use. In the next step, you can now clean / disinfect the heating plate and the sealing ring. We recommend our LIINI® cleaning and disinfecting wipeswhich eliminate up to 99.9 % of all viruses and bacteria.

We advise against sterilization in a boiling water bath, as the wear is higher and deformation can occur.

Built-in indicator light

LIINI® Home features a built-in indicator light for easy status monitoring.

If the indicator light is red, the device is properly connected to the power supply and ready for use. During the warming process, the indicator light turns white, indicating that the bottle is being heated.

Step-by-step instructions

A Step-by-Step Guide to Making Baby Formula at Home, Illustrated with Pictures

1. Open the lid with the screw cap

The hard plastic lid reliably protects the LIINI® Home warming area from dust and dirt.

If necessary, the lid can be easily removed and set aside safely while in use.

2. Disinfect the heating plate

The stainless steel heating plate should be cleaned with a disinfectant wipe for babies before each use. We recommend our LIINI® cleaning and disinfecting wipes.

You can leave the residual liquid from the disinfectant wipe to act for 60 seconds and then wipe away the residue with a dry cloth.

When disinfecting, be careful not to touch the plastic housing of LIINI® – this could lead to discoloration.

3. Check the sealing ring on the heating plate

Before each use, check to make sure the O-ring is properly installed on the heating plate.

The sealing ring must be installed as shown in the illustration: Both sealing lips must always be visible and must not point downward.

4. Check the sealing ring in the adapter

If your baby bottle does not require an adapter: Please continue with step 6.

All adapters feature an additional sealing ring that ensures a tight seal between the baby bottle and the adapter.

When using the device, be sure not to confuse or mix up the heating plate’s O-ring with an adapter’s O-ring.

The device is completely sealed only if both the heating plate’s O-ring and the adapter’s O-ring are properly installed.

5. Screw on the adapter

A corresponding adapter is required when using the following baby bottles:

Screw the adapter hand-tight onto the bottle warmer.

6. Add breast milk / water

With breast milk:

Pour the desired amount of breast milk directly into the baby bottle.

For milk powder / breast milk substitutes:

When using powdered products, the mineral water from the bottle (or boiled tap water) must now be poured into the baby bottle in the desired quantity. The milk powder is not yet added.

7. Screw the baby bottle onto the LIINI® Home

Hold LIINI® Home in your hand with the heating plate facing down. Place the baby bottle onto the thread from below and turn the bottle clockwise until it is securely screwed onto the LIINI® Home.

Important: Only twist the baby bottle. The LIINI® Home unit itself should not be rotated while it is being screwed in place.

We can guarantee that the bottle warmer is 100% leak-proof . If you are leaking liquid, check whether the sealing ring on the heating plate (step 3) and adapter (step 4) are used correctly.

If both sealing rings are inserted and fluid continues to leak out, also check both sealing rings for cracks.

8. Launch LIINI Home

The bottle warmer has a built-in child safety lock.

Before turning on the device, make sure it is connected to the power supply. If the indicator light is red, LIINI® Home is in standby mode and ready for use.

To turn it on, touch the power icon for 3 seconds and keep your finger on the icon the whole time. A light touch is all it takes—you don’t need to press the icon.

Once the lock has been successfully released, the two icons for breast milk and formula in the upper part of the display will flash.

9. Select "Breast Milk" or "Formula" mode

After unlocking the device, you can select the desired warm-up mode.

To do this, tap the area around the temperature icon to switch between the two modes:

Pre-Food Icon: Warming program for pre-food or infant formula
Breast Milk Icon: Gentle Reheating Program for Breast Milk

The flashing icon indicates the currently selected mode.

In breast milk mode, LIINI® Home gently warms the milk using reduced heating power. This helps ensure that the milk is heated as evenly as possible and helps preserve valuable nutrients and sensitive components of breast milk as much as possible.

In Pre-Feeding mode, the bottle is heated at a higher power setting to reduce the warming time.

Once you’ve selected the desired setting, confirm your selection by tapping the power icon once.

10. Select the desired drinking temperature

Now select the desired drinking temperature. LIINI® Home offers four temperature settings:

37 °C / 40 °C / 45 °C / 50 °C

Confirm your selection by briefly tapping the power icon.

LIINI® Home then automatically starts the warming process, heats the bottle to the selected temperature, and reliably keeps it warm afterward.

For breast milk, we recommend using only the 37 °C setting to ensure that the milk is warmed very gently.

For infant formula, the appropriate temperature is determined by the instructions provided by the respective formula manufacturer.

11. Add the milk powder

If you are using LIINI in combination with breast milk, step 10 can be skipped.

You can now separate the baby bottle from the bottle warmer and add the milk powder.

Use circular movements to mix the powder ideally with the water. Avoid vigorous shaking, as this can lead to stomach ache in the baby.

12. Enjoy your meal!

Now you can screw the teat onto your baby bottle.

The baby bottle is now ready for the hungry baby.

How to Clean the LIINI® Home Properly

For the longevity of the device and the safety of you and your children!

How to clean the appliance properly

Improper handling can result in serious risks.

Therefore, please observe the following instructions to avoid danger:

No exposure to water: Immersing your bottle warmer in water or cleaning it under running water can lead to water damage. The product must also never be sterilized in a sterilizer! This poses serious risks, such as short circuits, and can cause irreparable damage to the device. Such damage is not only a risk for the appliance, but can also lead to fires, electric shocks or other accidents. If water enters the product, it must not be used under any circumstances!
Cleaning the heating area: Only use special cleaning cloths for baby products (available from specialist retailers) to clean the heating area. We recommend our LIINI® cleaning and disinfecting wipes.
Cleaning the housing: It is sufficient to clean the housing of the bottle warmer with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn stains, you can also use a little washing-up liquid. Make sure that no water can penetrate the inside of the appliance. The electrical components are particularly sensitive to moisture.
Regular checks: Check your device regularly for signs of damage or corrosion. If you notice any abnormalities or if water has accidentally entered the device, stop using it and contact our customer service team immediately.

Important to note to prevent leaks.

Adapters have a separate seal!

All adapters have a separate seal which sits in the adapter itself and prevents liquid from escaping when the baby bottle is connected to the adapter.

The sealing rings of the heating plate and the respective adapter must not be interchanged. If this were to happen, the bottle warmer would no longer be leakproof.

Heating plate seal: Installation direction

To ensure that LIINI® Home is 100% leak-proof during the warm-up phase and does not lose any liquid, it is important to install the sealing ring on the heating plate in the correct orientation.

The correct way to install the sealing ring is as shown in the illustration.

The sealing ring for the heating plate is a wearing part that must be replaced regularly.

How long does the warm-up take?

Ready to drink quickly

Reference values

The heating time to the desired drinking temperature depends on various factors:

Ambient temperature (winter / summer)
Drinking temperature (37° C – 50° C)
Initial temperature (refrigerator)
Bottle size
Bottle material (plastic / glass)

For this reason, we cannot give you any binding warm-up times.

Temperature values - tolerances

Trust is good – control is better

Tolerances for heating temperatures

The various temperature settings of LIINI® Home are checked using calibrated temperature measuring devices and adjusted accordingly.

Due to various factors, the actual warm-up temperature may vary by up to +/- 2.5 °C:

Bottle material, e.g., glass or plastic
Ambient temperature
Initial temperature of the liquid
Water hardness or limescale deposits
Consistency of breast milk
Accuracy of the measuring device used

Please also refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for your measuring device.

Check the temperature: How to do it right

In order to create test conditions that are as comparable as possible, we recommend checking the temperature using the following procedure:

Measure immediately after the beep
The temperature may only be taken from the center of the baby bottle
Under no circumstances should meat or other cheap measuring devices be used to verify the temperature. The devices are not suitable for measuring liquids!
We recommend a digital clinical thermometer for the measurement
Tolerances of up to 2.5°C are unavoidable and do not constitute a product defect

How many baby bottles does my baby need?

Guide values for your baby’s food intake.

Regular weighing is important

The amount of milk for your baby depends on its weight – this is why your baby needs to be weighed regularly.

Doctors recommend 6-8 meals within 24 hours.

The basic formula for the calculation is:

Baby's weight / 6 = daily milk quantity in mililiters

Example:

With a weight of 4200g, this results in a daily requirement of 700ml:

– 115ml per bottle for 6 meals
– 90ml per bottle for 8 meals

Warranty

LIINI® stands for quality.

The products are guaranteed for a total of 24 months from receipt of the order. Wearing parts are completely excluded from the warranty.

Wear and tear parts are

Battery (The battery of the device has a service life of approx. 500 full charging cycles. After this, the battery will still provide approx. 80 % of its original power).
Seals (adapter and bottle warmer)

The warranty is also excluded:

If the defect is due to improper handling or use of the product that does not correspond to normal use.
To ensure the longevity and safety of the bottle warmer, it is important that they are used in accordance with the manual and our manufacturer’s instructions. We would like to point out that permanently connecting the battery-powered device to a power source over a longer period of time, especially overnight, will lead to an impairment of the battery performance and service life as well as to greatly increased wear and tear. In such a case, all guarantee and warranty claims are excluded!
If the defect is due to a malfunction caused by incorrect operation and is not in accordance with the instructions in the relevant user manual
described in the operating instructions.
If the defect is due to external intervention, in particular repairs and interventions by persons not authorized by LIINI GmbH
have been authorized.
If the product has been damaged due towater contact / water damage.
Normal signs of wear and tear do not invalidate the warranty.

LIINI GmbH can provide the warranty either by partial (e.g. spare parts such as seals) or complete replacement with an equivalent product.

In order to check the warranty claim, the customer must open a ticket under the corresponding category “Problem with device / defect” in the ticket system at www.LIINI.ch/support and provide the following evidence:

If LIINI GmbH discovers any damage to the appliance (e.g. misshapen heating plate, untypical scratches or dents, etc.), any warranty is excluded.

By submitting the ticket, the customer confirms that all details are true. LIINI GmbH reserves the right to take appropriate legal action should it become apparent during the processing of the warranty claim that there is evidence of warranty fraud.
